Moscow utility services will monitor the capital's households through the surveillance cameras. It was announced by Deputy Mayor for Housing and Utilities Pyotr Biryukov at the opening of VII All-Russian leaders Congress and Department of housing and utilities and 3rd specialized exhibition "Clean City".
As he says, all entrances and courtyards of the city will be given to the the new standard of amenities this year. For example, 113.4 thousand additional parking zones will appear in courtyards, 125 rinks with artificial ice will be built this year. Moscow plans to build 345 interblock play zones, 684 children and 26 playgrounds. City Government says that the total funding will amount to 20.4 billion rubles.
Biryukov announced that some city courts are already equipped with video cameras that have ability to broadcast even small cracks on the asphalt. The complete video on a staircase consists of: a video camera, two cameras, a set of hardware support for video and emergency communication device with a video camera and the negotiating panel. Piotr Biryukov said that the entire utility vehicle is also equipped with DVRs and GPS. Unfortunately, for few months to put cameras in every yard are impossible. Public utilities said it will take two years.
